Big Idea: What is the age of responsibility?
Learning Target: Analyze a complex text by paraphrasing it at three different levels.

Agenda:

1. To work on your comprehension of a complex text, you will explain it at three levels. To explain something at different levels you have to adjust your language to make it comprehensible to your audience.
1. Today you will create a script for a twelve-year-old
1. You can use more complex vocabulary
2. You can cover more than one topic in your video
3. Your script should be longer than your last one
2. Next, we will play a vocabulary game with our vocabulary list for this week.
3. Finally, we will continue to work on our comprehension of complex texts. I will read a text to you three times and give you a different task for each reading.
