Big Idea: What does it mean to be human?

After today I should be able to: review main ideas in chapters 6-10

Reading: Read TFA for 10 minutes.

Agenda:

1. We will create a timeline of the events so far in the book.
1. Each person will be assigned pages from the book.
2. On your half sheet, you will write down an important event and why that event is important. You will include a symbol and color.
2. We will then sort these events whether they happened in the past or the present.
3. What is Achebe circling towards? What point is he slowly trying to hit upon?

Things Fall Apart Reading Schedule:

• Week 10 (3/27 - 3/31) TFA chapters 1-6
• Week 11 (4/10 - 4/14) TFA chapters 7-11
• Week 12 (4/17 - 4/21) TFA chapters 12-17
• Week 13 (4/24 - 4/28) TFA chapters 18-25
