2. Today we will begin our first full essay. We will write the first paragraph together, the second paragraph with a partner, and the third paragraph on your own.
3. We will use this thesis statement to guid our essay.
1. In the novel The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien presents IDEA, IDEA, IDEA in order to highlight Bilbo's growth in leadership, ultimately illustrating that challenging circumstances provide opportunities to discover hidden talents, providing the practice we need to build our confidence in our new found talent.
4. Today we will write a good topic sentence for a paragraph and then use our skills from our previous instruction on body paragraphs to write this new body paragraph.
